"I believe Kelly's is closed as I didn't receive a response back recently. But for what it's worth... Our Kitchen Aid appliances are going on 15 years right now. (PRO TIP: Kitchen Aid is the "Lexus" of appliances in terms of quality and build. They never gave us any problems until now.) Up until 2019 we paid for annual service agreements via Sears in case anything happened them. But, with Sears' rickety lifeline, we decided to forego them for 2020 as who knows if they'll even be in business! Service agreements aren't cheap either, costing about $500 a year to cover five appliances. I figured it'd also be wise to not put in extra money to aging machinery as well. Of course after said service agreement stopped, something goes wrong. In this case it was our Kitchen Aid side-by-side refrigerator/freezer - the ice maker to be exact. While it still produced ice, the water to refill the ice tray was shooting out too strong so we had icicles and mini frozen waterfalls on the ice maker and shelves. Enter Kelly's Appliance Repair. EXPERIENCE: I remember my parents used him in the past, so I got his info through them. Phoned and left a voicemail in which he called back soon after. Our schedules weren't jiving that week but once we connected, it was all downhill from there. He came by to look at the problem then called back a few days later to schedule the repair. Turns out the part (name forgotten) that controls the amount of water being disbursed into the ice tray was the cause. The opening got too large from age which resulted in our unwanted Antarctic landscape. The part was changed and he said to watch it because if the problem re-occurs, we'll need a new ice maker. He didn't even leave us a bill as he charges after the problem is resolved. Who does that nowadays? OVERALL: He's the real deal. Honest, affordable, friendly, professional, local-style service. Highly recommended."

"Our large upright freezer died, and everything was thawing. We called the store that we bought it from, they offered a technical service 4 days away. So, looked in the yellow pages, and left a message for Kelly, basically giving the problem, and saying "Help". He returned the call a short while later, and showed up within 20 mins. He found the problem, sorted it, explained what had happened, and charged less than what the store wanted for only the Call out. I highly recommend Kelly, polite, courteous, and knows his stuff! Will be my go-to guy!!"
"I have to agree with Sunny's comment from 7 months ago. On his review, I called Kelly, left a message and received a prompt call back. Set up an approximate time for him to come by that day. I explained to him that I was looking to see if our older refrigerator could be resurrected inexpensively or not. Kelly showed up with a smile on his face and immediately assured me that was going to do his best and that there was a 50-50 chance that the problem we were having might be corrected with an inexpensive part. After he inspected the refrigerator, he asked me a few more questions and then recommended trying to fix it and he gave me an approximate cost. Voila! He installed a replacement of the suspected part and it seemed to do the trick. After sweeping up the area he told me to call him in a few days to let him know if the refrigerator was operating satisfactorily at which time he would settle the bill with me. Great customer service to say the least. I asked him for his card so I can have it on file if ever I need appliance help again."
"Surprised that Kelly doesn't have other reviews when he is soooo popular with clients. He is knowledgable, friendly and really fair. We have used Kelly for years - as have most everyone we know. He is a busy guy though (but that means he is in demand). He probably doesn't need the business, but I am going to give him this shout-out anyway."
