"Such a cute little boutique. Even the staff was super nice & helpful. I found a cute little black dress & on my way out I grabbed a woman helping woman brochure. I wished I would have had that brochure back when I was a teen in high school. Maybe I wouldn’t have gone down that pathway of abusive relationships. Because it’s so easy to say I would never let that happen to me. Yet abuse isn’t always so obvious as in physical abuse. It can be disguised in other forms & in each moment it’s so easy to make up excuses. But in reality those little red flags add up fast & it’s so easy to lose yourself in that hole you’ve accidentally dug."
"I love this store. I have purchased high end clothing and other items, at very reasonable prices. Staff friendly and accommodating. The main reason I frequent this store, is that they provide a great service to women in need. Women helping women! If a woman is escaping an abusive situation with the clothes on her back, they provide clothing, assist with housing, counseling, employment opportunities etc. So please, donate items, as well as shop here, to help with financial support. It helps women in need, in our community."
"I have enjoyed donating to this charity for years; both with material goods and monetary donations. I love the work they do to help women. Sadly, the last few times I've made donations at the boutique I have come away with a sour taste in my mouth. The woman who manages the place is rude to me every time. At first it was subtle but this last time it was pretty overt. The ladies in back are wonderful just not the manager. A couple weeks ago I went to make a donation. There were two women at the counter that had just made a donation and the manager was talking to them. I waited patiently for my turn. Ten minutes in and the manager still never addressed me not even to say I'll be with you shortly. She was having an engaging conversation with these ladies, telling them about her diet and life successes, and other things. She was very upbeat and happy talking with them. They finally left and then she turned to me and her whole attitude changed. With a scowl on her face and snippy tone she said, "Can I help you?" I told her I wished to make a donation. Her response, "Nope! We can't take it. They just made a big donation and we're too busy putting things away." I was flabbergasted! She didn't even ask what I was donating, if it was big or small, or whether I was just there to make a financial donation. She couldn't care less what I had to offer. That was the last straw! What I was donating was some very high end items that I ended up driving to Kihei to donate to the Salvation Army. I'm sad to say I won't be returning there any time soon to make future donations. There are other charities on this island that are happy to receive help. Despite that I want to give kudos to the ladies in back as they do a marvelous job displaying the merchandise and have always been so pleasant."
"The CHEAPEST prices for clothes, kitchenware, shoes, bedding, handbags, etc. I saw tons of Macy's clothes there and Victoria's Secrets clothes as well. I also got lamps, pillows, and Men's clothes, too."
"I always try to support the revive Boutique and their mission to help battered women. I went there one day with two boxes of really good clothing , Linens Etc and because it was 10 minutes after 4 they would not take my donation. I thought that that was really foolish. I had all good intentions but just drove off and don't plan to anytime soon. It is a shame that they don't really want to go the extra inch for people who want to donate Goods . what about people who work and don't get a chance to bring donations over till at least 5 o clock or so. Thank you"
