"Really a great, well rounded, experience. I have been to Maui several times but this was my first visit to Merrimen's. It will NOT be my last. This is not an inexpensive restaurant, but the service, atmosphere, location and (of course) the food make it a very special place."

"Our first time to Merriman's was a very good experience. The atmosphere was very cheery and fun. The dress code was casual. Valet parking is available. The waiter was super professional, knowledgeable and was enjoyable to talk to. He went over the whole menu to help me with my gluten free options. The food was delicious. All of us loved our meals. Definitely recommend!"

"Stunning views and amazing ambience. There was live music that was the perfect volume and great lineup of songs. I dined with my husband and our three year old daughter - the staff could not have been more amazing with a small child. The octopus appetizer was delicious. We also had the beet salad, chili broccoli, fish of the day, and wok seared ahi and finished our meal with amazing French press coffee and the bread pudding. We had an early dinner reservation and were able to see the sunset from our table as we finished up. Definitely a must visit in Maui!!"

Food: well prepared and flavorful, 4 stars due to portion size and price compared to other fine dining options in Kapalua. However, overall still recommend Merriman's!"
