"Awesome little place coming from the North through Waimea. After a long day and drive through Volcano’s National Park, this place hit the spot. ***CASH ONLY*** The two large Boston-style pizzas were delicious and filling. They also have a sonic crushed ice maker for their drinks! Great value and pricing for the whole family and there’s a few tables to sit inside. Ample parking on the side. Will definitely return!"
"We came for some good pizza and thought we'd been here before. Unfortunately the pizza was very disappointing. It was somewhat flavorless and worse than many frozen pizzas I've had from the grocery store. Most notable was the bland crust and unpleasant cheese. Nobody in our party of 5 liked the pizza. We heard a rumor that the restaurant possibly changed hands since we visited. The place is very small with very limited seating."
"We had a great time! Excellent pizza and service after a long day of visiting family and sightseeing. We got to chat with one of the bakers as they were getting ready to close. He was very fun, personable, and accommodating. This place is good at being flexible with what you want, and it also has a lot of menu options. Just be aware that, at least when we were there, it was CASH ONLY."
"At first glance it was a super cute looking pizza shop. The cashier was kind of rude, felt like I was back in NY. The pizza looked delicious however, my taste buds said otherwise. The pizza was very bland, I ordered a supreme pizza and it was anything but supreme. The sauce is too sweet with no actual flavor and that’s about all you taste. The “sauce” was more like a can of tomato paste. it felt like back when I had covid and couldn’t taste anything, I was chewing, I felt the textures, but absolutely no flavor. Kind of disappointed, but I still ate the whole thing, it is pizza."
"I hesitated between 4 and 5 stars, but I'm going for 4 because the food is really good. Like, surprisingly good. But the prices are too high. I didn't like the prices, which keep going up and up non stop. Look at any picture of the menu on Google maps and you'll see how many times they hiked up the prices. $32 for a pizza at a small pizza joint like this is not ok. I also didn't like to see the second chef come in straight from the street and start preparing pizzas with bare hands without washing his hands. That's also not ok. I give them credit for having the kitchen fully open and right in the middle, so we can actually see these things. It probably happens a lot more than we'd like to admit, but most times we just don't see it. I don't know if I'd go back, but I'd recommend it."
