"Had lunch with the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii Ambassador Committee. Since I’m an early adopter, I love this place and Chef Keaka and his team! Ordering the ‘shroom melt was ono! The mushroom sandwich included an egg on top and since I don’t like sunny side up, they cooked my egg my way. The service was great and Trina refilled our water without asking. I recommend you check out Kapa Hale for lunch or dinner."
"Fantastic experience. The kapa kahi salad with chicken was a winner."
"Valentine's day reservation made 3 weeks in advance, 1 week prior they called to say they implemented a fixed menu with only 2 options for double the normal price... We decided to keep our reservation because it was already too late to make another one... Seating for our reservation time was 15 min late, and another 15 min till someone came by for our drinks. 30 mins more for each course meant our 7:30PM dinner ended at 10PM. Very disappointed in the food, was not even 3 star quality and did not live up to their reputation. The only positive thing I could say about Kapa Hale was this interesting Matcha beer from Osaka!"
"Their brunch menu was awesome! We had the naan and curry to start, which was great. Then I got Shroom Melt Sando and my friend got the Green Eggs & Ham, both delicious and very flavorful!"
"The brunch menu for Christmas Eve lunch was a nice surprise. The names were very catchy cute and we waited for each dish with anticipation. Appearance/plating is 5-stars. The flavor, textures, combinations were not as good as we expected. Naan-ya was the best choice overall. Food overall was 3.5 stars. The ambience is charming with the wall mural. However being seated in the open patio section had a lot of ambient noise from proximity to kitchen and air conditioning as well as flooring not absorbing sounds. The pace of the lunch was nice, allowing for conversation to flow while we waited on starters/veggie choices and mains. Service was 4-stars. Value for money =3."
