"Really good coffee, the staff are all so friendly and it's so convenient. The pastries are all fresh and delicious. Sure, it's more expensive than other places but you're paying for convenience as well as quality."
"Cute boutique/coffee shop in the same building as the Kaimana beach hotel. Pricey but good coffee and banana bread. Really fun selection of swimsuits and jewelry. Great service!"
"I've had friendly experiences here before, but today was humiliating. I ordered a coffee and scone, but the girl at the counter wasn't paying any attention to anything I said and gave me the wrong pastry. When I said " oh, this isn't what I wanted, actually" they said just keep it. And a lady at the register replied: "it's not like he's going to eat it" as I walked out, and everyone in the place started laughing... just so they know, I had a stroke a couple years ago and lost a bit of mobility, therefore have put on some extra weight the last couple years, but comments and shaming like this is never, absolutely NEVER ok! Comments like this are what cause people to self harm. Im really embarrassed to ever go back."
"Terrific location but consistently poor customer service and an absurdly high price point. A basic, single espresso drink like a latte or cappuccino will cost nearly $10, not including the promoted tip. This is high, even for Waikiki. For visitors looking for good locally-roasted coffee, I recommend saving a few bucks and walking to either ARS or Kai Coffee."
"We tried for Hau Tree Lanai first but didn’t have the time to wait for 30 minutes for breakfast/brunch at 9:30 on a Sunday. So we decided to try the cafe. The scones were not great despite being warmed up. I consumed half of the bacon cheddar scone (it was like a brick). The blueberry cream cheese scone was okay (opposite of the savory it was fragile in structure). I ordered a matcha oat latte which was also okay. This accounts for the 3 star rating. The service staff was friendly and there are cool swim suits and other beachy things to admire during your wait."
