"I live in Philadelphia for many years and had never been to the Chart House there (not that I've heard good things about it). But this place is the place to be. The people and of course the cooks make this place happen. We've been here on this trip about 5 times and last night we closed it out. We had a blast! They have a happy good and drink menu from 9pm till closing @11pm."
"Hubby & I ordered fried rice it was very sweet. We didn't finish it. Steak & coconut shrimp was okay. Great customer service. The waitress was very helpful. I asked for fruits, although it wasn't on the menu. She came back with a little bowl of mixed fruits for me, which totally made my day! Gorgeous sunset view."
"We enjoyed a lovely early evening supper in the bar area and had a perfect seating location! The happy hour menu was amazing, the food came put fast and tasted great. The service was good, and the waiters were attentive. It's always busy here at happy hour time. Buy it slows down nicely afterward if you're ok to spend a bit more. Prices are very comparable and well, you can't beat the location. Friday nights are awesome, especially if you stay for the fireworks that happen every Friday night."
"Came here for happy hour when they opened at 3:30 and had a lovely table overlooking the ocean. For the prices I was really surprised with how large the portions were and the food was really delicious for two people. It was just $20 each for us to have a Steak, crab, stuffed mushrooms and fried rice. We started off of the crab stuffed mushrooms, and they were served on a bed of mashed potatoes. The stuffing was really delicious but the mushrooms themselves seemed like they were just steamed, and they didn’t have any crisp or baked aspect to it, which made them a little rubbery. On the better potatoes with a hollandaise sauce these were definitely feeling and pretty tasty. Just a little improvement to bring out the flavor of the mushrooms would’ve been much appreciated. Next was the New York steak, which was only $20 on happy hour and was cooked perfectly, charred on the outside and super flavorful and tender. I think this is probably the best deal you can get on a Steak in the area!! Finally, we got the fried rice, which was a very large portion for only about eight dollars and had an egg on top. The server and asked us if we were OK with having the egg over easy, which we replied, yes, but the egg definitely came out over cooked where it was unpleasant to eat. The bits of salty char sui were tasty and the portion was huge but overall this dish lacked salt and the runny egg would have probably added a lot had it been done correctly. For the price it was definitely a great value and we were full after these three dishes. I definitely recommend checking out this happy hour!"
"Excellent food, drinks and great service! The restaurant can get a little loud, but we were seated on the outside balcony section with a view of the water where the noise level is just right. Haven't been to Chart House since before COVID and they're better than ever! This was our wedding anniversary dinner and I couldn't have chosen a better place to spend the occasion."
