About Us

Aiea Pancake House, located at 99-115 Aiea Heights Drive in Aiea, Hawaii, is a fast casual breakfast restaurant known for serving traditional breakfast and lunch plates with a Hawaiian flare. The restaurant was first opened in 1988 by husband and wife duo Il Man and Sam Soon Chung, who designed the restaurant using Hawaiian Koa wood. The success of their first location led to the opening of a second location in 2001, and since then, six Koa Pancake Houses have been established across the island.
In 2014, the business was passed down to Juno Chung, son of the founders, who plans to expand the brand throughout the islands of Hawai’i and beyond. The restaurant is famous for its reasonable prices, large portions, and quick service.
In addition to dine-in service, Aiea Pancake House also offers catering options for breakfast and lunch orders. Catering orders are available Monday - Friday, with options for groups of 10 or 50 people. Plates, utensils, and condiments are provided upon request, and orders larger than 10 people require a notice of at least 24 hours before pickup time.
Please note that consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness. Visit Aiea Pancake House for a delicious and satisfying meal with a taste of Hawaii.

"A nice local breakfast place. The Trio of meat was delicious, the pancakes (we had chocolate chip and blueberry) were fresh and yummy, and our eggs were made to order. They used fresh fruit in the pancakes, way better than IHOP. The hot chocolate was also pretty good but the coffee was subpar. Overall if you are looking for a good local breakfast, I would highly recommend this place."
"This is a good neighborhood breakfast and brunch place. We came on a weekday so it wasn't busy and service was in training but still doing well. Food was delicious."
"Above average food taste, great price for so much food! Their pancakes beat IHOP’s and are the best I’ve ever had! I had the spam, eggs, and macadamia pancakes. Yum! Coffee was good too. I asked for milk for my coffee and they provided it without issue. I would rate it 4 1/2 stars if I could!"
"Service was quick, but food was below average. Something you could make at home. Rice had a string green onion flavor and that seemed like all the flavor there was. Pancakes tasted like box mix. Prices were cheap though."
"This place was recommended to us by locals. The staff is very friendly and the food was fresh and delicious. The short stacks were huge. I can’t imagine how big a full stack is!"
