"Love Madewell and always have. However, I had a poor customer service experience a few weeks ago that I tried to shake off but it really bothered me. There was a younger gal with long brown hair working the counter and helped me with a return. She was pretty unfriendly to start with, and then followed me around the store and just stared at me which made me pretty uncomfortable. (I think she was making sure I didn’t steal.) then when I checked out she claimed I had earrings in my hand and she would need to ring those up too. I didn’t have earrings in my hand and showed her. The overall experience was so gross and uncomfortable. I get that you have to keep out for shoplifters but the way she was following me and accusing me of stealing was way overboard and left a sour taste in my mouth."

"I have no bad things to say about this storefront. A great selection of stylish, high quality clothing is great but what really keeps me coming back is the staff. They're always incredibly kind and above-and-beyond helpful whether it's advising on a style or grabbing a few other sizes from upstairs. You can tell morale is high here, and that for sure will keep me coming back on a regular basis. Skip Aritzia next door and come here instead!"
