"Great little cafe with a good selection of coffee and breakfasts. Prices are affordable for this area. The staff is friendly and ready to answer any questions. My favorite is "sirniki" which is served on Sunday (wish they could be served every day)."
"Small eatery with friendly staff and good selection of breakfasts. We’ve tried syrniki and sweet crepes. It was delicious. Fresh and tasty. Wait time was like five minutes. Coffee was good as well. So overall I highly recommend this place to start your day."
"Despite the positive reviews, the food is average, and the coffee isn't tasty. The prices are too high, and the second cook, a girl, appeared visibly exhausted, rolling her eyes-an unpleasant sight. The first girl at the checkout was quite nice and sociable. Waiting for our orders took an unusually long time, despite the low number of people that day. Parking is very difficult to find in this area."
"Do not skip on Cafe Alani!! We almost didn’t try it because we thought that a hotel coffee shop couldn’t be excellent, but it is. We actually visited two separate days and were happy each time. The music is fire and the staff is very friendly for starters. We ordered the snickerdoodle and maple lattes- both were really yummy. For food we had the avocado toast and the croissant breakfast sandwich. While the avocado toast was nothing overly special, it was tasty. The croissant breakfast sandwich was excellent with crispy prosciutto, egg and cheese. The butterscotch banana bread is also delicious! Highly recommend Cafe Alani."
"The best breakfast cafe, with excellent local coffee and a variety of menu choices to suit every taste. Every dish we tasted was well-prepared, fresh, and delicious. The staff is friendly and accommodating. This spot, located within walking distance of the downtown district and Waikiki Beach, is well worth the early morning walk through Honolulu's lovely neighborhoods."
