"Wow, favorite shrimp truck on the island so far..and I've tried many. Everyone may hype up Giovanni's shrimp truck next door but personally that place is a tourist trap. Da bald guy has the best garlic butter shrimp that I've had so far, might I add it's deshelled for you! An order for $20 comes with plenty of shrimp, 2 scoops of rice and a scoop of mac salad. So good and a must try. I also heard their kalbi is delicious. Will have to try that next time. Wait time was 15 minutes on a Friday during lunch time."

"Got the combo platter of pan fried poke (definitely suggest the spicy variation) and beef. Both delicious - would say the beef was very reminiscent of Korean Galbi gim and super tender. We arrived around 11:30am on a Friday, and by noon, we overheard from the cashier they sold out of the shrimp. So if that’s what your vying for, you should definitely plan to arrive before then"

"We got here at 12:45 and they were sold out of everything but the shrimp. It was a bummer, but we ordered some shrimp anyway and it was delicious! The mac salad was incredible, though not traditional, it had great flavor! I hope to go back when they have other options available. Update: went back a different day around 11:30 and they were only sold out of the salmon. I tried the chopped steak and the fried poke. Both were good, but nothing compares to the shrimp!"

"this place was recommended by a friend. was told this truck was featured on a Netflix episode. we drove 1hr 11m from Waikiki to try it out. It was okay. We tried the garlic shrimp & chopped steak plate. kalbi was sold out and the furikake fish was sold out. it wasn't that busy when we arrived around 11am on a weekday but by the time it was our turn they wouldn't allow us to do a combo plate anymore. my buddy had the pan fried poke and he said it was good. The food is good but not worth going out of the way for. steak plate had nothing special about it I've had other steak plates that are better. the Mac salad wasn't as good as it looked. I think rainbow drive in is better. garlic shrimp is solid but there are other places just as good but closer to Waikiki. I guess I had really high expectations for this place but it didn't deliver. at least we gave it a try."

"Great local spot featured on Netflix’s Oahu’s Food Trucks. The hype is totally right for once. The portions were huge, lots of flavor and a definite must do while in Oahu. Be patient because the place does get busy but it’s worth it. I had the steak plate while my friends had the fish and shrimp dishes. All of them were amazing. I’m not a fish type of guy, but the spicy salmon was actually delicious. The prices are decent for Hawaiian prices. So, be ready."
