"Good, hearty food that fulfills the soul. The portions are huge and the prices are reasonable. The food is full of flavor and the cooking is creative. They serve mac and tuna salad! The food is not for the faint of hearth. The restaurant is a bit small so be patient and you may have to do the outdoor seating."

"First time in Hawaii earlier this month. Found Broke Da Mouth Grindz - Kapolei and man does the food live up to its name. Mains: Garlic and Furikake Chicken (Both Spicy and Regular) Crispy Roast Pork w/ Cream of Mushroom Gravy Kalua Pig Sides: Kimchi Cucumbers Purple Sweet Potato Salad Tuna Mac Salad Dessert: ‘Oh, Ube-Beh Ice Cream Pie’ Everything was fire! The tuna Mac salad was different, but good nonetheless. And that hot sauce they sell.. I wish I bought a bottle (Kind of tastes like a spicy sukang sawsawan for my fellow Filipinos). The Ube Cream Pie was ridiculous, so good! Servings are huge, one plate could easily be shared. Service was extremely friendly and accommodating! Wish I went back cause the food was some of the best I had the entire trip!"
