"Nó… maybe the high rating is from some other items but I purchased a Carnitas Burrito. Extremely bland (emphasis on extremely). The only thing that was seasoned/flavored was the chipotle sauce in it. Mostly filled with romane lettuce, some fries but seriously lacking in the beans. Picked out the Carnitas just to taste it by itself and had zero flavor. No seasoning. The tortilla de harina is very dry as well. Tried eating it because it was $13 plus taxes and tip. Only got half way, picked out the fries & ate those. It’s just the taste of it was really off. Lesson learned y nunca más volveré aquí."

"DELICIOUS!!! There was no line when we got there but food was ordered and out in 5 minutes. Was so fresh and warm and absolutely delicious. We were extremely full after our meals and completely satisfied! We are traveling from Missouri and wish this wasn’t so far away, lol! About $13 per person to eat which seems very fair from our experience so far in Hawaii! Highly recommend!"

"Food was convient after shopping at home depot. Ive been to alot of taco food trucks here although it is not the best or most delicious it isnt the worst. It was okay, if your looking for authentic mexican food this isnt for you but if you arent try it out. I got the Carnitas, Chicken, and Carne asada. I do not know which one was my favorite due to all of them tasting very similar guessing they use the same marinate for all of their meats. I give it 2/5 for taste but 3/5 for convience, good service, and the price. You get a good amount of food for what you pay for."

"If you are used to Bay Area quality tacos then Mondo Tacos is a must try. Ordered Chicken. Carnitas and Carne Asada and all good. Chicken was very Blandida, carnitas juicy and Carne asada perfect. All meats well prepared and seasoned. NOT OVER COOKED. Double tortillas not cooked in grease. Muchas Gracias!!!!"

"Quite possibly the worst Mexican food I've had on island, and that's saying a lot. After ordering and paying (with a tip) I was told they were completely out of pork, only had enough Carne asada for 2 of the 4 street tacos I ordered. I chose chicken for the other two. I also ordered a mango Agua Fresca and a strawberry one. They only had enough for 1/2 the strawberry (still didn't taste bad at all). I received the 4 tacos and they were cold, like COLD cold and the single corn tortilla (street tacos traditionally come with two) they were on was super soggy. The Carne Asada had ZERO flavor and seemed to have been boiled or microwaved vs. grilled and the chicken was equally disappointing. The cilantro was mostly stems and they used red onion instead of white onions and what seemed to be a store bought salsa. It was absolute trash... and that's exactly where it went"
