"First time at this location. We had 7 people so had a private booth which was awesome as was the food. BUT the service was disorganized and confused. Cocktails were ordered but not brought until they were reminded and part of the main food was served. We expect to get our drinks first and appetizers and then have a bit of time to relax and enjoy. Our food came out in all different times and none of the servers knew who got what which resulted in some confusion. We might have ordered another round of drinks had someone bothered to ask. We had to ask for bibs and crab crackers but they only have scissors and have you ever tried to cut a lobster claw with a scissor? Impossible. I asked for wet wipes but nope they don't have them so we had to go to the bathroom to wash our hands. We asked up front for the bill to be split and they got it wrong. We spent well over 350$ and it was a bit disappointing with an automatic 18% tip. Staff needs more training a watchful manager."
"Positively 5 stars! Good food - huge portions! Friendly, efficient - excellent servers! Thank you Tasha! Really cool interior. Love the hand painted wall and the lights."
"The service was fast and accommodating. The boils are good for 2-3 ppl depending on how hungry you are. The oyster shooters were so good. Parking can be a challenge since multiple restaurants and the mall share the parking lot."
"We visited Kickin Kajun around 11am. It's a spacious, modern restaurant. They have lots of seafood boils to choose from. They also have alligator, calamari, po'boy sandwiches, etc. Staff was friendly. Helped us pick our drinks, which were perfect! We ordered sweet potato fries, alligator bites, calamari, onion rings, and a poboy catfish sandwich. Everything tasted very fresh. It was freshly fried. The waiter was very attentive. The food came out in good time. The price was reasonable. They have booths available for larger parties. All of the food was good, buuuut they needed a Little bit of seasoning Somewhere on the food. It tasted as if the food was all fried in the same fresh grease. Mix it up a bit and pick some seasoned batter. Outside of that, the food was good."
"My husband and I decided to give this place a try today. We we're both pleasantly surprised. I ordered the coconut shrimp with parmesan truffle fries. My husband ordered the gator basket with cajun fries. The portions in my opinion were great. 8 plump shrimp,a huge amount of delicious fries (get the truffle fries!) My husband had a huge mound of gator (DELICIOUS! If you've never had gator and are afraid to try it,get it from here, its outstanding) Service was good, everyone was very nice However, we didn't get refills. Since we were in a hurry anyway we didnt ask. The food came out super fast and was piping hot when it arrived. My only draw back is I wish there was more variety with the boils. More mix and match instead of only being able to get the boils on the menu and ala cart items. Example, I wanted mussels and shrimp, but instead of being able to mix and match your boils, id need to get both separately, and add a side of potatoes, corn, egg, etc... With that being said,I would come here again in a heart beat!"
