"This was the best dinner we had in Hawaii. We had sashimi, yakitori, and bao buns with kimchi. I could say that in my point of view the sashimi was as good as the ones at best omakase restaurants in Japan or Korea. Also was surprised to get Kimchi so delicious as good as the ones you could get in Korea. The reservation is not needed, but make one if you want the seats beside the ocean. Also our server Johnny was great, he kindly explained us about the menu and made our dining experience comfortable. Thank you for wonderful dinner. "We booked a 10:30pm table for 5 at Mānalo lounge on New Years Eve and it was hands down, the best dining experience we have had at the Four Seasons (we have dined at Mina's, Noe, and La Hiki...all were amazing, but Mānalo lounge was the best). When we arrived, we needed to change our reservation size from 5 to 7 and we were nervous that our daughters wouldn't be able to spend New Years Eve with us, but the manager and her staff were incredibly accommodating and sat us all with no problem. Once at the table, we soaked in the amazing view and proceeded to have some of the best service I have ever experienced at a restaurant by our waitress Ellen. She recommended the perfect drinks and dishes, was around when she needed to be, and brought everything out in a timely manner. She was incredibly friendly and handled our very large party with ease! On top of that, the food was not only very large in serving size, but also very delicious! From the sushi to the sliders, everything was absolutely perfect. To top it all off, we received complimentary champagne right before the fireworks show. I cannot recommend Mānalo lounge enough. My wife and I will be back many, many times.
