About Us
Koa Pancake House is a popular breakfast and lunch spot located in Kapolei, Hawaii. The restaurant offers traditional breakfast and lunch dishes with a Hawaiian twist, all at affordable prices. The restaurant first opened in 1988 by husband and wife, Il Man and Sam Soon Chung, and has since expanded to six locations across the island.
In 2001, the Chungs' opened a second location to provide a fast casual dining experience. Their son, Juno Chung, took over the business in 2014 and plans to further expand the brand throughout Hawaii and the continental US.
Koa Pancake House is known for their large portions, quick service, and delicious food. They also offer catering services for breakfast orders of 10 or more people, with a variety of options to choose from. Customers are advised to give at least 24 hours notice for large orders.

"Had an awesome breakfast here! You walk in, order and find a table and they bring the food out to you. It can get a little busy here and there's not a ton of room, so just be aware of that. I got the plate breakfast trio with over easy eggs and toast with a half stack of banana pancakes.. Was super full after that. My wife got a locomoco and macadamia nut half stack and was very happy."

I do agree that if you are treating the place not like a restaurant with a wait time and seating you expect to order in a few minutes and get you food within 10-15 mins like a dine like L&L not super long.
