"I know this is a food truck in a Walmart parking lot, but it's the best food we've had so far. We all got different dishes: loco moco with the juiciest/most savory pork, saimin (fried noodles) with the best shrimp tempura I've ever eaten in my life, and a teriyaki burger + mango lemonades that were highly refreshing. If you're hungry and in the area, do yourself a favor and grab some lunch here."

"Been alot of places but this by far is THE BEST SPAM MUSUBI! This isn't the standard 7-11 "roller dog musubi." Lightly fried with tempura crunch, garlic flavor, sticky rice and of course the Spam. Would reccomend to others and will come back."

"Fantastic Hawaiian-style lunch from a food truck in the Walmart parking lot! The owner greeted us warmly and was helpful in our deciding what to order. We got the Chili Pepper Chicken (fried nuggets, sweet/spicy) and the Hawaiian Style Smoke Meat (sliced and glazed smoked pork). Both were excellent! If eating on the run while shopping or picking up lunch to go, this is a great option!"

"Finally got around to trying Pineapple Express Kauai. Only regret is that now I find myself craving fried musubi all the time! I don't even usually like musubi very much!!! I also had shrimp tempura on a salad. The salad was actually really good, not just the usual "ok, here is some lettuce as a base." I'll definitely be returning on a regular basis."

"Stopped by PEK after our ATV tour for a quick afternoon lunch and they did not disappoint! I got one of their daily specials a Teriyaki burger and my hubs got something off their regular menu. Both were excellent and full of flavor. Some of the best food truck food we’ve ever had! Highly recommend them if your a local or visiting Kauai. :)"
