"had a scheduled appointment on August 19th for my Van's AC diagnosis/repair. They were backlogged and they weren't able to get to it. I left it overnight in the hopes they would be able to look at it on August 20th, a Wednesday. Once again, they did not get a chance to look at it on August 20th. That day, I had to catch the Kauai Bus to Kekaha, which is at least 1 hour away to borrow my Dad's truck to get to my job in the evening. I could have just as well picked up the van and saved myself all that hassle to get to Kekaha, instead of letting the van sit there untouched. I returned my Dad's truck on August 21st, a Thursday. I informed the service manager if the van isn't in the process of being diagnosed by 12:00PM, that I'd come to pick it up, as I didn't want the same thing to happen again, where the van just sits there, not being worked on, while I could actually be using it for work. I understand that there is a shortage of technicians, but this is ridiculous."
