"I don’t know how this place doesn’t have all fives. You know when you see a bakery and you think to yourself, “Oh a warm, delicious baked good sounds perfect right now,” but you go in and get something and it’s disappointing? Not this place! Everything was delicious, warm, crispy, flaky, divine. I got a cream-filled malasada and a custard something or other—both perfect. My husband got a cinnamon twisty roll and his was perfect as well. We almost turned around to go back and get more. We found this place on our last day on Kauai and it’s a good thing—otherwise they’d have had to roll me off this island."

"We live in Oahu and have passed this place many times when we have visited Kauai. Unfortunately, up until now, we haven't made time to stop. Now we know better. If your anywhere near this side, make plans to STOP and grab some sweet treats. It's clear that those who bake here do so with Aloha."

"malasada with custard was so good, very traditional + perfect, some of the best i’ve tried so far. black bean and coconut donuts were interesting too but have more dense dough than the malasadas, so i preferred the latter. the coconut donut surprisingly wasn’t custard filled but had the texture of shredded coconut which was cool"

"Amazing sweets and a good selections of groceries. Be sure to get there before 10 to be sure they haven’t run out of the pastry you want. They also have Girl Scout cookies, which is unique and great if you don’t know a Girl Scout. Friendly staff and the line moves fast. **Be aware that the brownies contain peanut butter because they have no signage**"

"Wonderful experience, not The Best bakery I've enjoyed, but plenty delicious, and certainly worth stopping for! I'd give 4.5 Stars, if possible. Best in my family's opinion: Coconut Cream Pie! Malasadas, great. Fritters, pretty good. Turnovers, pretty good. Wish List for next time: banana cream pie."
