"Great in sales but once they make the sale, they could care less about you. I’ve spent over a month now trying to schedule a service call for my fireplace that’s been inoperable during freezing temps. After multiple unanswered messages I was finally able to reach Randy and we spoke twice over a period of two weeks. Both times I was told, “someone will call you back” and nothing but crickets. What an unfortunate experience, as I thought Randy was a nice guy during the sales process and was happy with my gas insert until now."

"We shopped around extensively for a fireplace insert and installer for our cabin. The quote from Woodstove Distributors was many thousands of dollars less than two comparable quotes for similar BTU stoves from companies in Truckee (I won't name names, but the quotes from the Truckee stores were bordering on insanity...). The Truckee store also quoted 2-3 months for the install. Woodstove Distributors had out stove/insert installed within two weeks and it's now heating our cabin wonderfully. Would highly recommend! And FWIW, in response to some of the reviews noting the owner (Randy) may unload his life story on you if you call when he's not busy... This is true, and I experienced it, but his life story is actually kind of interesting and I'd hope people could maybe take a little time out of their day to lend an ear for a few minutes rather than posting negative reviews about a family-owned business that has been operating in the Tahoe basin for decades just because they're in a hurry!"

"Beautiful XL heat n glo installed very professionally, with nice inset on top and overlapping stone on the sides. Randy knew the best inset for us and Ricky was careful and meticulous installing it. Definitely the best place to buy a Heat N Glo."

"My experience with Randy at wood stove Distributors Incline Village was unbelievably great.professional consultation and great prices, Max did an unbelievable job at creatively installing and suggesting visual. Improvements. I personally believe this is the best business in Incline for caring and value. "This is not some fake review because I know him. Cannot recommend this business enough!! Randy got our pellet stove to us super fast (while everyone else was MONTHS out) and Ricky had a hell of a time because of a tough install at our place. Even with that difficulty, they were nothing but nice. Randy accidentally under quoted the install by $268 AND WOULDNT EVEN LET ME PAY FOR THE OVERAGE!! HE ATE THE $268 and refused to let me cover it. Unheard of these days. Incredibly knowledgeable and great to deal with, look nowhere else for your needs.
