"Today I had the absolute BEST HAIR COLOR at Fantastic Sams in Henderson, NV 89052. I'm originally from Boston MA and always went to very boutique upscale salons that offered delicious snacks, wine, soda etc. So even though this stylist, MARSHALL HUGHES, was highly recommended by a friend who recently discovered this 'hair artist', I was still not convinced. I drove by this salon, double parked to peak in, and left. It reminded me of a salon where new hair stylists, just out of school might get a first job. My friend continued to encourage me, whenever I saw her at cards, and she was always looking like she had her hair colored and cut at a very high end pricey salon. So again I drove by, but this time I walked in. Marshall was busy with another guest, but he told me when I could return for a consultation, which was what I needed prior to letting anyone color/cut my hair. I did this and was beyond impressed with what he told me about his coloring technique ....nothing I've ever experienced before! So I scheduled an appointment and I'm in awe of Marshall Hughes skills, talents and knowledge with coloring. I'm a brunette so typically here in Henderson / Las Vegas a stylist just added color quickly, and it was over & done. But Marshall invited me to watch him mix my colors and explained what each color he added would do for me. He continued to explain ever step to me in layman's terms so that I'd be calm, knowing that he new what he was creating for my color. He is a COLOR GENIUS and my haircut is as fabulous as was my new color! And he also explained, as he was cutting my hair, why he was doing everything he did, and what he'd do at follow-up appointment, after hair grew in from my previous haircut elsewhere. Besides being so gifted, he is the most personable stylist and spending time in his chair was a delight."
