Reviews of MR CHOW
"Not the best Mr. Chows location. Food was ok. We always order the same thing at every location. -chicken satay -shrimp fried rice -fiery beef -walnut shrimp -vermicelli with lobster Lychee martini"
"We popped into Mr. Chow in Las Vegas to try their dinner offerings. We kicked off with appetizers like the Chicken Satay and the vegetarian-style potstickers. While the chicken satay was a hit, I could've done without the vegetarian potstickers, to be honest. Perhaps a different filling would have suited my taste better. The ambiance was decent, although a bit bright for a dinner setting, and the restaurant was quite empty when we arrived for our 6 o'clock reservation. Finding the place amidst Caesars Palace wasn't a breeze, but we managed to arrive safely for dinner. For our main courses, we opted for the seabass with steamed rice and the Gambler Duckling with sautéed string beans. The food was delightful, absolutely no complaints there. The service was attentive as well. Would I consider returning? Possibly, though I wouldn't feel compelled to hurry back, especially with so many other dining options available on the Strip. The price is on the higher side, so make sure you're prepared for that. However, the portions are generous--you'll likely end up with leftovers, to the point where you might be seeking someone to share them with if you're just visiting."
"The atmosphere is top-notch. It really is one of the most beautiful and entertaining restaurants in the city. The kinetic chandelier is so cool. It is silently graceful and very unique. Also make sure that you check out the view of the Caesars garden and pool from the balcony behind the bar. With that said, the food is average at best with small portions, and very high prices. I did enjoy the service. The wait staff is professional and doting. This was my second time here but it will probably be my last. it just isn’t worth $250 for a meal for two with no leftovers."
"Mr Chow in Caesar's Palace, Las Vegas never fails to please! It's a beautiful and elegant setting for fine dining, with fantastic flavors and dishes and exquisite professional service, as one might expect for this level of dining. All items on menu are superb. Photos show the Price Fixe menu selection for the entrees with Steamed Sea Bass and Fiery Steak with sides of Baby Bok Choy and Brown Rice with Mushrooms (inside metal pot). Video shows the unique and mesmerizing ceiling architecture that is mechanized for a periodic show."
"Do not believe the hype! This place is beautiful and the service impeccable but the accolades so there. Not let's be clear, MR CHOW IS NOT WHERE TO GO FOR GOOD FOOD (although for the prices it should be the absolute best). You're going for the floss, the experience and the ambiance and they do deliver on those things. The food was no tastier than the beautiful, crisp linen on the table (the saucewas the only thing that saved it). I also question the chicken due to its pork like texture, and I was extremely ill the following day. Do yourself a favor and ask the hostess if you can take a picture from the doorway, save your money and eat elsewhere. You can get much better food in Chinatown without all the pomp and circumstance. I've had better "Asian" food from a mall food court."
