I came to Dr. Rillera for a second opinion because my insurance sent me to another large practice, where I asked for a teeth cleaning where they wanted to charge me 2k (for a “deep” cleaning) after insurance coverage and another 8k to take out my wisdom teeth. I saw Dr. Rillera for a consult where he was honest and caring, and also told me I didn’t need to spend 10k and advised against taking out my wisdom teeth, and a “deeper” clean was sufficient without breaking the bank. Dr. Rillera isn’t part of my insurance network, and my out of pocket costs were much cheaper than my in network providers. Because of Dr. Rillera’s honesty, my teeth feel great, my pocket book feels more full, as I pay him out of pocket instead of opting into my insurance coverage at work.
