"A friend introduced my wife to Sunset nails years ago and she has always gone there since then. They talked me into getting a pedicure and I loved it. The staff is professional, listens to their clients and does amazing work. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️"
"WORST pedicure of my 17 years of getting them. She was rough cutting and filing. I asked for new acrylic on my toes and she INSISTED on just filling them. Left my big toe nails at completely different lengths. The gel polish was being applied in blobs and attempted to clean up the edges. Left thick and uneven. I was clearly unhappy the entire time, and ENDED my pedicure halfway through it (without even finishing my polish) and was still charged full price. I have received better pedicures at beauty schools from students. Go across the street to Sunset LOUNGE!! Complete different experience"
"Mary removed my natural eyebrows on top, by waxing too much! It goes against the rules to wax above the eyebrows. It should have Benny plugged by hand. Actually it didn’t need it at all! I told her not too much! Now you can see the micro blade work, that was to be covered by the eyebrows before! That’s horrible! I pray they grow back! It wasn’t worth the gain for her if $10!!??. My legs waxing, I had only few hairs, and mine are only thin, fine hair, didn’t grab it by the root! She filed and smithed my nail bed, then out the stinging liquid in my naturally long nails. Under the blue UV-light it burned like hell! The pedicure was nice! Massage was less than usual. I used to love going there! Thank you"
"The ladies here are nice enough but the service is not all that great. I requested an acrylic removal and instead of soaking it to loosen the acrylic (it is bonded with super glue after all), they literally were forcefully ripping the acrylic from my nails. At one point, I thought my real nails were being ripped from its nail bed. They were already halfway through my nails before I could say anything and therefore I pushed through but the experience was traumatizing sitting there watching the tech try to insert the thin plastic in between the acrylic and the real nail and not knowing if it’ll jam right up in my nail bed. And if that’s not enough, when they finally could insert the thin plastic between the acrylic and the real nail, the process of them ripping it up as you sit there is nothing short of actual torture. Customers, beware. Make sure you know what you’re getting and if they start doing that stuff, speak up or go to another salon. It is not worth it. My whole nail beds are tender and paper thin than it needs to be."
"I have been a loyal and frequent guest of Sunset Nails for almost two years, but my most recent visit was extremely disappointing. The lady who did my nails was sloppy and left them looking awful. When I went back to have them redone, they wanted to charge me for their poor workmanship. What's even more concerning is that they don't use plastic liners in their pedicure stations, which can cause fungal infections in toe nails. As a result, I have decided to take my business elsewhere. I'm disappointed that Sunset Nails has lost my business, especially since I've always left them an extremely good tip. I hope they take customer feedback seriously and make necessary changes to improve their services and hygiene practices. Overall, I would not recommend Sunset Nails to others and suggest finding a different nail salon that prioritizes customer satisfaction and hygiene."
