"I did see the new dentist at the office and he was very pleasant. The visit was not as ideal in comparison to my previous visits as they were short staffed that day. Both the dentist and his assistant did explain it to me though and I truly appreciate their honesty and effort on handling everything as much as they can. I’m curious though what had happened to the dental hygienist that cleaned me last time. I liked her as she is thorough and efficient."

"Shields Family Dentistry is the best! I have been a very happy patient since day 1 (I was a patient of the previous practice). The front office staff is amazing! Dr. Shields (Mr. though I’ve also seen the Mrs. and she also rocks) is very thorough, patient and makes sure you understand procedures and the steps before it happens so you aren’t thinking when does the torture end (come on, we all know root canals suck). Overall, I recommend this practice to all of my friends. I’ve never hated going to the dentist and I have to say that 90% of that reason is the entire staff!
