Absolute Dental - Farm

"Worst dentist ever! Called and made an appointment for bonding a tooth temporarily. Oh yes he does that no problem! We get there and the place is so dirty and smelled like sewer! Waiting room and exam rooms had dirt everywhere! The receptionist was to busy talking about her bad eyes and 2 people went ahead of us, instead of loading the information in she just screwed off! Then they forced X-rays on us for bonding one tooth! The dentist looked to be fresh out of school, he pushed on every tooth instead of just looking at the one we went in for.. he started saying you need a new veneer, you don’t need crowns, he was told no getting crowns soon he flipped and said yes crowns is what you need!!!! Then asked 4 times what do you want me to do today? We told him 4 times. Then he says no I can’t do it!!! All because he either didn’t know how or was hoping for a big payday! Either way they lost all our business and got a bad review! I would not recommend this location to anyone!"

"I love the is location so much. Agnes is the best she always makes me feel so comfortable. All the people here do, special mention for Stephanie the receptionist, very sweet! I had oral surgery at the Charleston location and it was so unorganized and chaotic and made me appreciate the Farm location that much more! Thank you for taking care of me!"

"This is one of the best dentist's offices I've ever been to. Everyone, from the front office to the doctor, is kind, helpful and understanding. I always feel like they care. And in the two years I've been coming here, I've never sat more than a few minutes in the waiting room, even when I show up unexpectedly. Thank you much!"

"I have been coming here for 2+ years now and Im not sure if the front of house (check in staff) is new but this is the third or fourth time I was verbally told and given a handwritten card for my next appt. date to come back. Each time without fail i was told my appointment didnt exist and they couldnt take me. Not only are they extremely rude and unprofessional when doing so but they do not care that going months + in between visits affects my teeth and braces(im an ortho). Its very unfortunate that the checkin staff is unable to perform their very BEGINNER job duties and for lack of better words, completely ruins the experience especially when the actual Drs are great. I have tried transferring myself and when the lady over the phoneCONFIRMED my new location, I went and again everyone was extremely rude and said they didnt have my files and the dr had to approve. so i had to leave; they refused service even though I was confirmed. This is a whole other 0-1 star review. I have called management multiple times in regards and have filed a formal complaint but no action was taken, i was basically told “oh well, not my problem” this place is great if you dont have standards or care about yourself. I highly recommend either getting ALL new FOH staff or investing in retraining as I am not the only patient who has experienced this."

"The staff are great and the work was perfect. I have a problem with how they handle bills to the insurance. Had some crowns which were not emergencies done. Each time they told me what insurance would cover and when my annual amount was used (supposedly) I started paying completely out of pocket. Don't trust them to know. I just had to pay them another $941 on a crown that could've waited until 2024 because I trusted them to know what was going on and to be able to do math. Check continuously with your insurance company and keep track yourself. I should've known, I suppose, but they were pretty confident each time I asked them. This is the state of American healthcare I suppose."
