"The previous dentist here, Jason Henderson was about as bad as possible and will not be surprised when he loses his license. I recently learned that the two cavities needing root canals are actually not cavities at all. Now I wonder if the first “cavity” he treated (quickly going thousands over my annual insurance) was even necessary. Unclear if he was just grossly incompetent at billing or if he was intentionally shady. He repeatedly billed me more than he was supposed to, mis-categorized the treatments and was very deceptive about actual costs for my visits. He also bribed patients with $25 to post a good review on Google and Yelp Apparently, Jason also had a failed practice in the Bay Area before coming up to Kings Beach. I wanted to leave this review in case he opens a new practice and tries to leverage the good reviews of another dentist. I think that the current dentist here should distance himself from Jason Henderson as much as possible and remove him from their website/video."

"Super positive experience at Kings Beach Dental. We were on a family ski vacation at Palisades and one of my crowns came out on a lift line (don’t eat electrolyte gummies!). We had 5 days left on our vacation and were 3 hours from home. I called a number of dentists and Kings Beach Dental was able to squeeze me in that afternoon. My crown was unable to be reseated. I expected long drawn out process of temporary crown on the first visit and a permanent crown on the next visit. I was wrong! Dr Shimp was able to mill a new crown while I waited. Whole experience was 2 hours and my vacation was saved. Great dental care from really nice people. Highly recommend!"
