"Extremely rude receptionist. I am in a blizzard and all I get is attitude and insults when simply asking if it's possible to remove something from my car, saying manager is too busy amd unhappy about the situation. If this is true, dont take the business and let another tow company handle accidents. Or at least have the respect to talk like an adult without demeaning every question. So much for taking care of locals"

"I highly recommend calling someone else. I broke down on Highway 50 outside of Strawberry on my way to Stateline. I called Welcome Towing and stated that I was 6 miles west of Strawberry and the receptionist said, "Not a problem he will be there between 90 to 120 minutes." Which I understand. So I waited for two hours. Only then to get a call from the tow truck driver stating that he could not find me and he is exactly 6 miles outside of Strawberry. I told him I was just around the next bend in the road within a mile from him. He did state that he could confirm that I was probably within a mile from him but that he is sorry but I would have to call someone else as he is not allowed to go any farther. If they have such a fine boundary line on their map that says that they cant go past, shouldn't the receptionist have stated that in the beginning. Maybe, " Well if your 6.1 miles instead of 6, we wont be able to help you." But no he told me "Sorry i'm going to have to close this work order, and here is another company you can try." I then hung up and contacted chp, who called one of their contract towers to help me and they were there in 45 min. Once we left I saw that Welcomes Towing had stopped "about 50-100 yards around the bend from where I was at the (gravel pit) that he described. If you want a experience like this and to be treated like this. Then call Welcome Towing."

"These guys were so friendly!! I was traveling through South Tahoe and stopped for the night. In the morning I woke to a flat. My insurance kept me waiting for over two hours, and the lady who answered my call here was so kind and compassionate. The driver that was dispatched to me was friendly and easy going, even when circumstances changed and I didn't need a tow anymore, he wished me a good day. Overall, I am so grateful for this tow company!!"

"During a vacation to South Lake Tahoe my car had a flat tire. To make things worse several towing companies were not operational due to bad weather. When I first called Welcomes towing, I was told there is a wait time of 3-4 hours for help to arrive. However, they took down my number and help arrived in under 1 hour. The towing truck driver was also very pleasant to talk to. The price also was very reasonable! Highly recommend Welcomes Towing! Thank you so much!"
