"The owner was nice but we found out that he tried to upsell a part that was 180$ just around the corner at Oreillys for 310$ to us with a reasonable labor cost. When we simply asked him we are getting our part ourselves and bring it to you he got offended and a bit mad and asked us to take our car. We ended up saving around 100 dollars by going to another shop nearby who accepted the brand new part from Oreillys."

"We have taken our cars to Marv's for over 20 years. He is knowledgeable, efficient and reasonably priced. We have even left town on vacation, leaving our car and a blank signed check with Marv. Can you do that with your mechanic?"

"So far so good. I just had my alternator replaced and everything seems to be working just fine. Although the place is far from clean, the service (for me) was the same as with any other mechanic, straight-forward. I'll be sure to update my review if anything changes. For now though, I'm just pleased at the price and fast turn-around on this job."
