While my previous experience with them hadn't been great, I decided to give them another chance under new ownership. Initially, everything seemed fine, but I noticed some oil drops on my driveway afterward. Concerned, I scheduled an appointment to have it checked. Harold, the technician, was fantastic. He not only identified the issue—a leaking crankshaft seal—but also took the time to explain it to me in detail. He even showed me the exact spot under my truck where the leak originated. Throughout the process, both Harold and Lesly, the receptionist, maintained excellent communication. What truly impressed me was their honesty and transparency. They were upfront about the cost, labor, and parts involved, making me feel in control of the situation. As a female customer, this level of honesty is invaluable and unfortunately rare in the automotive industry. I'm grateful for their integrity and for not taking advantage of a new client. Thanks to their efficient service, my truck was fixed within a day and a half. Because of this positive experience, I'll gladly recommend Rick's Total car care to anyone in need of a trustworthy mechanic. "Went to this place based on Groupon and I don’t think I’ll use their services again. Paid $10 extra for oil disposal, asked for a tire rotation and that wasn’t done. I was also told my fluids were going to be topped off and that didn’t get done either. When I got my receipt it also started that it was the blend oil when I asked and paid for full synthetic. What they actually did and didn’t is up in the air and I don’t like feeling that way with my vehicle. Thanks but no thanks."
