"I didn't even eat the meat myself as I live out of state. But I want to make public my encounter with this company. I called Jack Cooper Custom meats and ordered two tomahawk Ribeyes for my father's birthday. When my grandfather arrived to pick them up there was a little mishap with the order online and something didn't go through so the steaks weren't ready. Now this might seem as a strange 5 star situation but this is where I was impressed. The owner/manager got in contact with me. We lined out the phone order and she hand delivered the steaks to my grandfather at his home 30 minutes one direction away from this store. I was not expecting this level of customer service. Beyond impressed, you don't encounter that level of customer care these days. Thank you for ensuring my father got his gift. Keep it up! You've earned return customers in my family without a doubt."

"I have never been so excited to get rid of hamburger! Our hamburger was not ground up properly. We had fat and cartilage in our hamburger and not to mention the greasiest hambuger I have had in my lifetime. Whoever was grounding our hamburger was not observing the quality of meat. We did contact the store and was refunded half our processing fee but that didn't even compare to our ruined hamburger for a year plus the disappointment. When you pay a good chunk of money for beef you should be able to expect quality. I take pride in feeding my family. This experience has made me want to be a vegetarian. Please take the time to be observant and inspect for quality and if parts need to be replaced to replace them. Thank you."

"Since opening last year, I have been going to Jack Cooper for meats. Recently I took delivery of a full cow that I purchased from them and I am very happy with the results. The flavor is fantastic, I just add a little salt, no need for seasoning or sauces to give the meat flavor. Amy helped me with my order and walked me through the various cuts and gave recommendations based on my needs. When I go in, they are always friendly and my full cow order they processes it just the way I wanted it. They take good care of the cows and it shows in the quality of the meat. I like support local family owned businesses and this is one I would highly recommend. Since opening, I have recommend Jack Cooper to my local friends and they all have said they enjoy the experience."

"Jack Cooper has some excellent meat! We've purchased their ground beef, bone-in ribeyes, and chicken breasts. It's been the best we have found in the area since moving here last year. The pups also LOVE the smoked bones. Great idea! We highly recommend making the trip out to Cologne."
