1228 Main

"I have never departed a restaurant feeling devastated, knowing I won't have the opportunity to savor the food again. Hasten to say, 1228 Main is exceptional and warrants a visit if you drop by Las Vegas. We arrived sometime around noon and it was relatively crowded, however, we made a reservation prior and were able to be seated and served quickly. If I had to pick one absolute standout, it would be the baked french toast. Extremely decadent and crisp at the top, it is unrivaled elsewhere. The dish is composed of cubes of croissant, adorned with berries, baked with perfect balance, and topped with the perfect dollop of cream. In each bite you'll find either a pocket of chocolate or custard. If you enjoy your brunches sweet, have an eye for croissants, and want something that you haven't quite seen before, this easily takes the cake. The grilled cheese is as expected, the cheese had quite the melt and the sourdough gave a satisfying crunch. The sourdough being one of the favored aspects. However, the tomato soup is an amazing compliment. Definitely leans more towards the savory rather than sweet, and it was smooth without removing itself too far from the actual taste of the tomato. Overall, the food is fantastic, the portions are generous, and you likely will not find a more outstanding brunch in the area. If you choose to visit Las Vegas, take the short bus ride or taxi out to 1228 Main. TLDR; try the baked french toast :)"

"We had breakfast here and the food was just phenomenal. We had some pastries that were served warm and were very yummy. Then our mains were so unique and delicious. The flavors and attention to detail in how they were cooked was out of this world. Thank you for a GREAT breakfast."
