"I feel like I was racially profiled at this michaels. I came into this michaels on 2/23/ 2024 to buy yarn to crochet my mom a blanket. I tried to use to use my credit card at first but it declined which I later called my bank about. When the card declined the cashier never even told me it did, she immediately called her manager once the card declined, I asked her was everything okay and said “oh it declined” I said oh really I can pay debit it’s fine. By that point the manager already walked over and she tells him what I just told her about paying debit. She snatched the bag and the manager a short white male says oh well once you pay we can give you your things. At this point I’m feeling uncomfortable because why are they treating me like I’m trying to steal?? I literally came to the register to buy it. He tells me well we have to keep it until you buy it as if I don’t know that, The cashier never even said the card declined. He tells her to keep the receipt in case they “need it” I’ve worked in retail I know what that means. The manager literally stood there until I paid for everything. I will never step foot in this Michaels again I don’t appreciate being treated like that especially when I was pleasant with the cashier and remained calm the whole time. I just don’t get treating me like I was about to run out of the store, such a disheartening feeling experience."

"I visited the Frame Department. Needed to switch two portraits into one frame. I can't remember the gentleman's name, shame on me, at your Henderson store on Eastern. He was so patient and knowledgeable. I can hardly wait to pick up the finished family portrait."

"The service we received was above and beyond. We went to purchase some frames and also needed to have some custom borders cut for our pictures. Our date of pickup was a couple of days. To our pleasant surprise, we received a phone call within a day letting us know our order was ready for pickup. We are very happy with the quality of work and how quickly it was completed. "50% off on many items and 60% off on seasonal merchandise. There’s also several items on clearance that you might find useful. The store appeared well stocked and was neatly organized. On another note, Michael’s recently installed self-check out kiosk machines in the store. This is much needed and a welcomed sight to shoppers and those pressed for time. With that, introducing anything new comes with a learning curve and these kiosks are no exception. However, fortunate for customers, Michelle (manager), was there to assist. She was friendly very personable and understood the importance of good customer service. She made my first experience with the kiosk a painless and easy transaction."
