We soldered them together & they capped the prongs to keep them from catching on things. "When it comes to buying diamonds, this was definitely not my wheelhouse. I had no idea if I was getting a great deal or not, or even getting a real diamond or a lab. I’m not wealthy, like most of us I have to work long hours for my money so In my opinion it’s an industry you can really get taken advantage of. I had to find a reputable jewelry store. I budgeted myself around $2000 for a pair of earrings. I visited about four other high end stores in Reno. In summary, all the stores had what I was looking for. The difference was the quality of the staff at BVW. They are staffed with very knowledgeable employees with gemologist credentials. The owner Britten took the time to educate me on how mined diamonds go up and down in value, how and what to look for and what’s not so important, etc. it was not just a positive buying experience, but an educational one. I left the store with more knowledge about diamonds than when I arrived because the owner took the time to educate me about mined diamonds. Something you normally don’t experience when you visit other retailers. As far as the Dangle Diamond Earrings , it took about a week to get the earrings made. It was professionally gift wrapped for Xmas. And my girlfriend refuses to take them off because they sparkle (XXX)."
