Reviews of United Cerebral Palsy of Nevada
"DO NOT DONATE HERE. My husband attempted to donate some very nice clothes here. After a nice employee told him where to set his donations he proceeded to get them out of the car. The employee offered him a receipt. As he was finishing up a crazed man named Robert ran into the back and SCREAMED at my husband for “illegal dumping”. As my husband desperately tried to get the items back in the car the sick man continued screaming at him like a lunatic. DO NOT DONATE HERE IT IS NOT SAFE. There is no way this is a legitimate charity."
"Very rude lady in there. I don't know her name but she wears glasses with short curly black or grey hair. Me and kids went in to shop and my kids were playing with the toys not being loud. She approached my kids saying they couldn't play with the toys and to find there mom and was being very rude about it. My kids walked up to me looking like they was going to cry. I approached her and she said to get my kids under control, being very disrespectful. I will NEVER go back there again. If you have kids don't take them with you to that thrift store. Sucks because I love that place"
"I wanted to donate boxes of books as they alphabetize them. Also had some quality items. There was no answer at their back door. We began unloading. A woman appeared from around the corner, yelling donations are only accepted 10-3 Monday-Friday and demanded we "take it all back." Drove across the parking lot to Goodwill, where we were greeted and gladly took our donations."
"You can go to a junk yard and find better deals. They use to use people with down syndrome as slaves, and didn't have anything of any value in the store. Now they've moved and I'm don't see the slaves hiding in the bathroom anymore. Maybe partly because they have no restrooms for their costumer's anymore. They sell anything of value separate from the thrift store, so it really makes it a complete waste of time to come here. They want full retail price for used junk."
"This store is located close to my home Andi enjoy taking walks over to the UCPN store. The workers are so polite and always willing to help the customer. Here's an AWESOME deal I got at UCPN... $60 for a brand new 65 inch flat screen LG Smart TV.... Thanks ladies for being so Courteous!!"
