"The geek squad here are extremely rude and speak to you like your stupid. Very poor customer service and on top of that they didn’t have the part or a loaner phone and wanted to keep my phone until the part came in leaving me with no phone. Spoke to the manager but he just seemed like he was to lazy to do anything or fix the problem. Not sure why anyone would pay for service from this group of misfits."
"Probably the worst service of any Best Buy store I have been to and I am an Elite member. Desiree and her manager would not price match despite my following all their requirements they initially gave me. I spent $8K in last year alone and they would not offer me an $80 discount on 12 pairs of headphones I was buying for gifts. I bought them all elsewhere and also just bought my fridge, dyson fan and am planning on buying a host of other items. I am sending their corporate offices all the receipts going forward so they can see how many sales this person lost them. I will try to hit her yearly salary by the end of the year."
"What does Geek Squad and a jellyfish have in common? Both are spineless and brainless. Quoted 1 price to fix my phones camera lens. When I came back they wanted 400 dollars to fix a piece of plastic. Cant even speak to a manager because everyone that works there is a child. I would rather use the 400 dollars, go back in time and pay for the managers mothers abortion to save her the humiliation that her kid works at Best Buy."
"This review really deserves no stars. One is way to much. I purchased the Geek Squad protection plans for all four phones on my plan for a total of $40 per month. When it was sold to me, I was told if a phone breaks, bring it in, pay $50 and get it fixed. Went in today and was told that they changed the plan and I now need to pay the full cost of the replacement phone. If I am going to pay full price for the replacement anyway, I'll just get a new phone through my carrier and keep my $40 a month. Then the lady at customer service tells me "Yeah, it's terrible. We lost so many customers over this." The worst part is, they changed the plan in 2013. Which means I've paid almost $1000 to them for absolutely no reason. I do not go to work everyday so that Geek Squad can rip me off. I will never do business with them (probably not even Best Buy) ever again."
