"Original: Unexpectedly Best buy canceled my order and their reason was "system error" I went in person to buy an open box dryer thinking my vehicle was big enough for it. Sadly not but I went back inside and they said they could schedule it no problem (I would have called a friend otherwise) well today was the delivery day and I well they just straight up cancelled it. It was like $300 off plus a $75 gift card. I physically went there and bought it and had it almost in my vehicle and now suddenly it's gone. My only explanation is they sold it to someone else after I had already bought it and then they were like oops and just cancelled me... I'm not sure what to do here cause I just became a best buy member and got their card and apparently they just don't care. Update: Over two weeks later it was delivered. I don't understand what happened or why no one contacted me or why there is such huge miscommunication between corporate and the store or why I can't contact the store directly. Whatever, I'm happy they finally delivered it but the lack of communication is atrocious especially when I tried to reach out a few times before posting this review."
"If you're looking to buy appliances, you need to speak with Cole or Colby here. Cole helped us with our kitchen appliances. He was very pleasant and helpful. We returned to purchase a new washer & dryer and had the pleasure of dealing with Colby. He was wonderful! We will definitely make sure with tell our friends to see them for their appliance needs. I hope the store knows & appreciates these young men. They were both stellar!!"
"How is it that the Geek Squad had better customer service than the Manager there!?!? The only reason Im giving 2 stars and not one is because the Geek Squad there was helpful and understanding. The manager on the other hand wanted to talk at me and not to me. He didn't want to help me find a solution only wanted to tell what they couldn't do with a "sorry not my problem" attitude. At the end of the day Apple took care of my problem thank god!"
"I did some last-minute Christmas shopping at the Best Buy on Rainbow. What a great experience it turned out to be. I was expecting that it would be hard to find any assistance. It was quite the opposite. The staff was pleasant, knowledgeable and available. Ana was my sales associate and she was excellent. She really is a credit to the team there. Plus the price of the item I wanted was more than reasonable. Thanks Best Buy!"
"Best Buy: The Land of Broken Dreams (and Cameras) I've been on a quest to find a Canon 90D camera, and I've been having some bad luck at Best Buy. First, I drove 136 miles to Tucson to pick up a camera that was listed as "open box," only to find that it was nowhere to be found. The employee told me that the website is sometimes incorrect, but I'm starting to think that they just don't know what they're talking about. Next, I drove to Las Vegas II to check out another open box camera. This time, the camera was actually there, but it was completely unusable. There was no battery, the cover was gone, and the lens was scratched. The employee told me that they would give me a discount, but I'm not sure if that's enough. I'm starting to think that Best Buy is the land of broken dreams. If you're looking for a working camera, I would recommend going somewhere else. Or maybe just buying a lottery ticket instead. You're more likely to win that. I drove 136 miles to Tucson for a camera that didn't exist. I feel like I should be in a country song. Or maybe a Coen Brothers movie. Or maybe a scene from "Thelma and Louise." I'm starting to think that Best Buy's open box policy is just a way to get rid of their broken cameras. They know that people are less likely to complain about a broken camera if they think they got a discount on it. I would recommend that Best Buy do a better job of inspecting open box cameras before they put them on the floor. They should also make sure that the descriptions on their website are accurate. If they do these things, I might be more likely to shop at Best Buy in the future. But probably not. I'm not sure if I would recommend Best Buy to anyone looking for a camera. I've had too many bad experiences with their open box policy. If you're looking for a working camera, I would recommend going somewhere else. Or maybe just buying a lottery ticket instead. You're more likely to win that."
