Reviews
"It's a nice park. It has paved walking paths, a small lake that has disappeared in the past when drought conditions are bad enough."
"Came out of water after walking around for just a few minutes and tiny leeches all over us... Definitely not a swimming beach."
"Good place to bring the kids! Bring your grill and Spend the afternoon! Water is clear and not to deep, sandy beach (among the weeds)."
"I have always wanted to swim and hanging out here after I found it quite by accident. It's out of the way and in a quite neighborhood that really is not set up for through traffic so it's unlikely you have ever been by it. Today, the 4th Of July, after a 14 hour motorcyle ride in heat that was in the upper 90s, I stopped by for a swim In my ragged motorcyle shorts. Walking through the good sized park with space enough for lots of well manicured grass separating the parking lot from the lake I noticed a pavilion with a lot of picnic tables and a large modern playground. The place was far from overcrowded even on the 4th and the people were quite pleasant. The lake is shallow but the beach was groomed and relatively weed free. The water was almost too warm but a welcome reprive from the hot and humid day. I will do it again. Great for families and children!"
