"It's a beautiful view of the icy lake and houses. A few picnic tables and bbqs. Nice view of the Buck Hill ski resort."
"This is a small yet popular local beach. We went on a warm summer night and watched boats drive into dusk while my son was fishing. There were a few family parties and lots of activity. It has a decent playground as well. Weβve been here before and done swimming and had ice cream from the ice cream truck. Every time I come I wonder why we donβt come more!"
"Nice public beach! Pros: Great sandy area , roped off swim area with gentle slope into deeper water, play structure, volleyball, restroom facilities, concession stand (after noon in summer) plenty of shade options. Cons: a little messy for a weekday morning, playground is removed from lake area so its not super feasible to have littles doing both the playground and swimming at the same time and maintain supervision. I could see this park getting very busy on weekends."
"Pretty good beach and not overly stalked by officals. Lots of grills and picnik tables. You can rent a few water toys too. Food trucks and ice cream trucks make their rounds too."
"We enjoyed swimming at Crystal Beach! There was a roped area for fishing and swimming. The sand was less rocky than some and softer than I expected. The edge of the water has weeds, yet they didn't bother us. There were so many tiny fish swimming around us. It was fun! My son caught a few with a net and then released them. My kids also had fun finding shells too. The water is pretty shallow. I didn't have to worry about my young children getting too deep. There were water toys available. Also a playground is a little ways from the lake. Several picnic tables are above the beach and some shade from trees as well."
