"For a Minnesota beach I give this 5 stars. Good amount of parking, even though you have to pay. Only $6. You have access to a great picnic area and bag boards. There are public restrooms. Plenty of picnic benches. Boat ramps. A nice swimming area. The beach is a bit Rocky but otherwise very nice. Also volleyball courts."

"This little neighborhood beach is a great place for kids to experience lake swimming and sand castle building. There is a grassy area with picnic tables and a shelter you can reserve. Or just sit in your chair and look at the boats and the huge houses on the lake. Parking in the summer can be full and it is pay to park then but during the off season parking is free and there's a fun playground."
"We were here primarily to play at the playground and it wasn't "beach" weather so I can't comment too much on the lake/boating - but: - The beach looked pretty decent - There was playground equipment for really little kids and then slightly-bigger but still little kids, so that was nice. - Restrooms, if a little basic, were definitely a plus. - There was a decent amount of volleyball courts, so I imagine they get some good use - There was kindofa neat permanent bags area that I had never seen at a park before - There was at least 2 shelters (in good condition) in the area that I could see and they both were getting some family reunion use The only real negative - which I suppose probably helps with the upkeep of the park - was that you have to pay to park. Obviously not a big deal to people within walking distance, but a consideration if you are driving."
