Reviews
"We happen to be in the area and decided to give this place a shot since we saw raving reviews about it. We got lattes to go. I did love the to go cups for hot drinks! Something very unique with the transparent cup. The coffee though was just not that great compared to other coffee shops. It was bold but lacked flavor. There isn’t enough seating inside and the food/pastry selection was minimal. Will probably come back if I’m in the area again to try their mocktails or nitro."
"I got a Panamanian pour over and it was maybe the worst cup of coffee I've ever had in my life. This is an honest review. The coffee was served luke warm and tasted like watered down barley tea. I typically drink my coffee black, sometimes I use a half packet of stevia. The barista explained pour overs were served without sweeteners or cream. After the first sip and realizing I didn't like it, I asked for stevia. She explained they weren't allowed to give sweeteners with pour overs. I don't really understand how a coffee place can dictate to someone how they can drink their coffee??? I ended up using a small amount of stevia I found in my purse, it didn't help. After about 3 sips I told her she could take it away I wasn't going to drink it. She asked if I ever had pour over before. We take coffee seriously in our house and have an entire coffee station to make everything from drips, pour overs, and espresso drinks at home, but I like to try coffee places on the weekends and relax. She noticed I put a little stevia in it and said, that's why they don't recommend sweeteners. I was like, it was awful before the stevia I was just trying to make it tolerable and couldn't. I wasn't mean and kinda laughed when I explained that I wasn't going to torture myself over a $7 cup of coffee and force myself to drink it. She wasn't rude either and it's not her fault the coffee was terrible and the water temp set isn't high enough. And in the baristas defense, she did offer me a refund or asked if I'd like something else without me even asking. I ended up leaving with a to go drip, which while nothing extraordinary was far better than the pour over. I felt bad and put $2 in the tip container and left. The place was empty and I understand why now, and it has nothing to do with it being in a tucked away location."
"This place is a gem, an oasis for a coffee connoisseur. Single origin coffee, roasted perfectly, and prepared with excellence. They have an excellent assortment of freshly roasted coffees, which are all roasted in this exact location. Nothing sits on a shelf for months, it gets served in its prime. They also make their own cold brew and an assortment of canned beverages to go. All of their coffees are roasted light here, to allow you to really taste and experience the true flavors and nuances of each unique bean. Most people don't really know what high quality coffee tastes like, so if you love Starbucks and you are used to that over-roasted burnt ashy flavor, you won't get that here. And while everyone is welcome to have their preferences and opinions . . . if you think Starbucks has good coffee then you really don't know what good coffee tastes like haha! I noticed a few other reviewers complain about the prices here. Yes, prices are higher. And you are paying for extraordinary quality and a premium cup of coffee. You really do get what you pay for here, so treat yourself to a next level coffee experience and check this place out."
"The coffee was okay but overpriced so I’m marking down the food score. $6 for an espresso that didn’t even have a crema? The three of us know our coffee and for our tastes, this coffee was a disappointment. Both espresso and pour over. Just can’t justify the cost. However, I can see how some will love the nuance of what they’re offering so don’t be dissuaded if you’re adventurous. If you just want nice coffee with cream and maybe a sweetener go elsewhere, because neither offered here. Again not trying to dissuade the aficionados- but caveat emptor for those wanting a more standard cuppa."
"It's a nice spot to get your work done. The ambiance is quiet and pretty chill. You don't have to worry about the loud music or loud people. The place is small to medium size, and it could get full pretty quick. They have cool merchandise. And their drinks are delicious. My favorite is the Chai Latte. You can definitely taste the spices. It's about right. Love their motto —"Respect the Drip.""
