"Sent flowers to a friend for her birthday and the wrong arrangement was sent. I called to figure out what happened & was told there was a mix up but they would send a new order out. They were very helpful in fixing the situation and apologized for the mix up. I may call in my order next time instead of ordering online, but I will 100% use this florist again."
"Thank you Schaaf Floral. I asked for a beautiful, colorful flower arrangement and you delivered that! I asked for a delivery time that was one hour earlier than your stated delivery times and you delivered that! You delivered a card that was written exactly as I requested. You helped make my daughter's day. Thank you so very much for the great product and service!"
"This review has been long overdue. Do not do business with someone who does not hold their word. I am greatly dissatisfied with the poor quality, design, and lack of proper customer service and integrity from Schaaf Floral. Last year my bf had sent me the “Crimson Rose Delight” in the 2 dozen rose option for Valentine’s Day. While it seemed like a beautiful arrangement at first, the roses died not even 24 hours after delivery (they were properly cared for & stored at home). I called with my complaint. In disbelief and a hint of annoyance, she (forgot the owner’s name) told me to email her pictures for proof which luckily I had taken just in case. Who asks for proof btw? The “cheap” flowers my bf had picked up at the grocery store 1 week prior to the V day arrangement he sent me had lasted 3 weeks in comparison to the roses from Schaaf. Reluctantly, she agreed to replace the roses but under one condition - everything, literally everything, had to be a replica of the original order due to “company policy,” when in all actuality, she did not want to put in any extra work. Had to be the same arrangement, the same message, the same delivery address, the same everything she said. Annoyed, I picked up the replacement arrangement she had made for me. I was absolutely shocked to find the replacement arrangement was half the size of the original one and only HALF the roses, way less greenery, and no baby’s breath! Even the vase was entirely different (smaller vase for a smaller arrangement of course). It wasn’t even remotely close to the same arrangement or value as the original. The original arrangement was close to $200. The second arrangement was a disgrace. I do not appreciate a store owner not only lying to me about what their policy is, but also trying to be sly in tricking me into believing I was getting a replacement arrangement at the same value. The only thing that matched was the poor quality the first time around. The stems were cut terribly, cut way too short, and the roses were not properly trimmed/prepped which causes the water/flowers to mold quickly. My best friend is a florist and I used to be a wedding planner so I know a little bit about flowers. Please do not waste your hard earned dollars or time at Schaaf and bring your business to A Johnson & Sons Florists in St Paul off Grand instead. They’ll not only appreciate your business but they’ll do a phenomenal job and provide great customer service. Included are pictures of the grocery store flowers, Schaaf’s fresh flowers, and the dead flowers the next day The second arrangement did hold up slightly longer than the first arrangement. However, they quickly started dying after a couple days. With any other florist, my flowers tend to last 1-3 weeks. Even if the quality was there, I’ve lost my trust and respect in Schaaf floral to ever return. I would like to note that the workers inside the shop were incredibly friendly and welcoming when I stopped by. If only the owner learned a thing or two from them"
"I discovered Schaaf earlier this year, and this week used them for the third time for a last-minute delivery. They're professional, helpful and their flowers are stunning! I live across the country and am thrilled to have found a local florist in the Twin Cities I can trust! Update: Schaaf keeps knocking it out of the park! Another milestone birthday delivery today was successfully executed and the recipient was thrilled! Thanks so much! Later: And I keep coming back for more. Another outstanding job. Thank you!"
