"Love this park. Never feels crowded and you can feel like you're out in the woods and not far from town"
"Beautiful park with a Creek and Walking & Biking Trails ......"
"Trails were great. Beautiful park. The history of the land was interesting to read and there was even a working well water pump."
"Very nice park with a quaint little stream running through, lots of places to sit and take in the serenity of the nature surrounding you. Trails were not well maintained and most of the trails were for mountain bikes but we hiked them any ways. There is an abundance of wildlife throughout the park and trail system including deer, raccoons and a variety of bird species. Would have rated higher if trails were in better shape and marked as to which is mt bike and hiking. Overall very pretty and close to a decent size town for lunch and light shopping."
"The park is a nice little get-away for the locals in Wadena, but don't come here expecting a "destination experience". The park is mostly flat and chock full of easy to medium difficulty mountain biking trails. The picnic shelter is made of some of the largest logs I have ever seen, which makes me wonder where these behemoths came from! All the trails seem to be good for walking, but beware: the trails can become very muddy in the spring and anytime it rains. That being said, the woods atmosphere and scenic creek that flow through park make this the perfect place for an afternoon stroll with the dogs and/or kids!"
