Orwell Dam Park

"Yes beautiful. But no camping or campfires allowed at night. Police are patrolling and will ticket. One officer was kind and let us stay in the truck until we were sober enough to drive seeing that we were eating sandwiches. Thank you. He came back and breathalyzed the driver an hour later and gave us the okay to take off. So beautiful area for fishing and day picnics. Kids will love the park...But there is no clean running water there for drinking or washing hands. Just be prepared."

"This is a decent country park and recreational area administered by the Army Corp of Engineers. It has numerous picnic spots along the Ottertail River and does have a small playground area too. There is also a small covered shelter and accessible pit toilets. It is a great place to get on the river or shore fish. The down side is there is tons of trash everywhere even though there are numerous garbages."

"Small dam on Ottertail river. Nice place to wander around. Was there in mid-October and it snowed. Fall color near peak."

"Awesome park right in the river! Weeds were a bit out of control but it had great swings for toddlers and adults it was very nice swinging on the river. Such a beautiful spot for the sunset. Flies were kind of bad but I was wearing shorts so that didn't help. Fish were jumping the entire time."
