Reviews of Welles Memorial Park
"Water, sewer, and electric hook up. $30 a night. We are the only ones camping here. Had to wait 45 minutes to set up because another camper was in our spot not necessarily the campsites fault but still an inconvenience. The train went by several times an hour last night blowing its whistle. Overall pretty good!"
"Darn good time at the MDFC employee recognition event. Yummy food, good tunes lots of shade."
"My daughter, when she was younger used to love going here and playing. I used to play tennis all the time on the courts they used to have before the flood. It's a well kept up little park."
"This park could be so much more. It's a bit run down and the playground needs new sand or rock and a good clean up. Some baby swings would be nice insead of just regular swings and to have the swings closer to the playground. It's in a nice open area so kids can run and play it is a nice place just needs some updates."
"Exceptional service, great food and fair prices. Our server was attentive, but not pushy, the two calzones, shrimp Alfredo, onion soup and nachos were uniformly excellent. Three meals for under $70 total, and the complimentary popcorn and craft root beer are very nice touches. We will be going back."
