"Great trails, has a boat launch, great playground, shelter (both indoor and outdoor), bathrooms indoor and outdoor... concessions building, boat launch, great trails, and all along the river where you can feel a little out of town :)"
"Very nice park, has a country feel to it. There's public water access, a rentable shelter with a kitchen/serving area and seating area attached to a picnic area that also has a shelter/cover above it. A very nice playground for kids to play at. Would be ideal for any sort of family get together. (i.e. birthday party s, reunions, graduations, etc.) My cousin recently held her college grad reception here and it worked perfectly, even when the unexpected rain hit. Would highly recommend."
"My kids had so much fun walking on the trails. There is even a playground and bathrooms. Actual hills and trees. Not something I see a lot since moving to ND. Can't wait to go back. I'll definitely pack a picnic lunch since there are so many trails to pick from."
"For a park so convenient and close I really live this one. You feel like you are in a forest far away from everything. There are so many paths, you still feel rather safe. It is beautiful here and close to home with a little playground for kids, open fields, forested areas and a cement walking path for muddy days. Many people let their dogs loose here and I live that. They should be responsible and pick up their poop though."
"Wonderful place to explore. My husband and I just found this park a few days ago as we are not from the area. We have been here twice now in 4 days, it is such an amazing place to walk through. We live over 100 miles away and it is currently winter, I can not wait to come back in the summer!"
