"What a joke. As others have found out the hard way like me, Dave doesn't take calls, answer email, texts or letters. No repairs for "punch list", No 1 year walk through, final grade is supposed to be smoothed out dirt, not dirt with 10" ruts in it. His Remax agent, Mike Doyle is a joke as well. Asked him to help us out but just tells me "I hate it when you send me these emails, leave me alone!" He sure didn't mind taking my money....."

"We’ve had a really great experience with building a home with Dave and Michael his realtor. The process of picking out our layout, choosing our home interior, building and now living in our new home has honestly been a great experience. Dave was present consistently during the process and was easy to work with when making changes. He was quick with ideas to meet my vision in this home and the option choices included were outstanding. Since moving in we have had just a few minor things fixed and Dave has always responded same day and sent people to fix immediately. All in all we are happy we went with this builder and we are so in love with our home."

"My Mom has been chasing Dave, the builder, since we moved in to get our home's repairs completed. Despite our one year warranty being reached in March 2023 and my Mom complying with builder's request to enter all of the needed repairs in Craftsman Custom Home app, almost none of the repairs have been completed. Even the repairs that have been listed as urgent. When some of the work is done, it is done very poorly so it almost always needs to be redone. The realtor that represents the builder, Michael Doyle from Remax, has been no help either, although my Mom has spoken with him several times. Builder Dave does not answer to phone, email or text... no communication at all. A terrible experience."

"We closed on our home in Buffalo in June of 2021. A number of items were identified at our pre-closing walk through with Dave. Of the page of items listed, many of our concerns are still outstanding. Since that closing, we have had a number of other issues come up. Our one year walk through has not happened as well. Dave has been completely unresponsive. We have tried to contact him via text, email, and phone. We have not heard back from him in months. Our list of concerns are many including having a front door that does not seal, failed grout around the tub and shower, water that has leaked and started rotting base board, squeaky floors, linoleum in a bathroom that was cut short and doesn't go completely up to the vanity, water sitting in window sills and deck door tracking when it rains, we were never given a screen door that fit our deck door, a window that does not have the safety stop in it, oil canning with our siding, sheetrock screws popping, paint touch ups to name a few. It is extremely frustrating to own a new home that has multiple issues and have a builder who is not willing to communicate period."

"We put a purchase agreement on our “Craftsman Custom Home” house in September 2022. The completion date they had on literature, etc. was November 30, 2022. Good I thought, we can be in before it’s freezing…..wrong!!! I made several trips here to see that things were on schedule because we had to be out of our house (1 1/2 hours away) by the end of November. There were weeks that nothing was done on it but, supplies were in the house. In our “final inspection” a few days before closing, we noticed some things that needed to be fixed. We ended up closing and moving in on December 31, 2022. The contractor (Dave Gardner) was late to our closing because they were still working on those fixes. And they still weren’t fixed. Upon moving in, we noticed that the house still had sheet rock dust everywhere, there was a hole in the wall behind one of the toilets, nail holes on baseboards, casings and door frames haven’t been filled, 2 different casings around 2 different doors, only 1 screw in hinge holding garage door onto wall. The splice in crown molding above kitchen cabinets hasn’t been finished nor have the nail holes been filled. The foundation is leaking. The painting is awful!!! The floors creak. The finishing contractor used caulking in just about every corner so, they are not sharp & crisp, they are rounded. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE finishing workmanship!!!! Still waiting for final yard grading and other things to be fixed and we’ve been in this house for almost 5 months. Buyer beware!! We left a quality home for this…..very, very disgusted and angry!
