"I hate leaving bad reviews but want to save future customers from working with someone as rude as Andy Brown. I asked if someone could come out to look at my pool pump as it wasn't working. Apparently I had the switch on the wrong setting (rookie mistake, but I'm a new pool owner). I got an absurdly expensive bill in the mail so I called to ask what it was for since they didn't have to do any work to my pool. I figured there would be a charge to come out and take a look, but not the amount they charged me for not doing any work. So I called to kindly ask if there was a mistake with my bill, and I've never had a company be so rude and disrespectful in their response. Maybe he had a bad day, I don't know. But I won't be working with them again with how poor the customer service/communication was."

"My pump motor died and I reached out to three different companies, including AB Pools which I’d never worked with before (the other two I had used). AB responded very promptly and was able to prioritize getting me on the schedule very fast to get to my house and replace the pump motor. Pricing was fair and the people were very pleasant to work with. Definitely recommend and will keep them on the top of my list in the future!"

"Horrible experience every time. We had them come to our hotel to replace 2 pool pumps, and replace a sensor on our boiler. They told us they would be back to fix the sensor on the boiler at a later date. 2 weeks passed, still no Andy brown, so I call them and they say that they were never going to come out because we didn't have proper ventilation in our pool room and they didn't want to be blamed for someone dying from carbon monoxide, which is the opposite of what they told us in person at first.. so we call an hvac company out to look at the venting in the room and add more if necessary. Both hvac technicians said the room was more than adequately vented and it did not need any more than it already had... they also said the sensor we had was the wrong one, but I was able to put it in myself and it fit like a glove. Then a month after they put two brand new pumps in, one goes out. I called and told them about this and they were very rude on the phone. I told them they did not install it properly because they did not hook up the external ground, and now my pump is shorting out... weird coincidence right? I asked them for a refund because there is no way in hell I would ever have them back out and before I could finish my sentence they are screaming NO REFUND at me through the phone. I told them they are extremely rude and do horrible work and we will never use them again, then I hung up. They then called me several times in a row after that to the point where I had to block their number to avoid any future arguments, and they still leave me voice-mail after voice-mail asking for me to let them back out to replace the pump that they installed one month ago for another hefty price, no discount, no refund, nothing. If you want your work done right and at a good price, DONT CALL ANDY BROWN! If you like being scammed and talked at like an idiot they are a perfect fit for you."

"We recently switched to Andy Brown Pool Service to maintain our in-ground pool. I was having trouble with my previous pool cleaner who wasn't doing a good job of cleaning, keeping the water clear, or really caring in general. I asked my neighbor as I was always impressed with how clear, clean, and beautiful their pool was. Andy Brown Pool service was very responsive. Was able to get out the same week to clean my pool. The difference was incredible. Prompt service, better water quality, my pool is actually incredibly clean now! They even found a couple of minor leaks that we had, diagnosed, and repaired them. Above and beyond! The difference is "clear". They are the best!"

"It's not often you can call a pool company and actually have the owner answer the phone. We replaced our liner, filter and heater on a pool that hadn't been used for 3 years and Andy has been responsive and trustworthy. We tried working with several other companies and were left with no-shows and poor service. Andy Brown's guys have shown up when they said they would at the busiest time of the year and have done a great job on the installation - even managing through a power outage due to recent storms. Our pool is back up and running like new again."
