"MT Carpenter put in a french drain for our sump pump 5 years ago. it never worked properly and they didn't stand by their work. We were told that this is typical and to wait until the drain thawed. That was never the issue. We spent money on plumbers, bypassed the drain so the sump wouldn't recycle water constantly, and finally had to replace our 6 year old sump last week because of the strain constant running created. They weren't even willing to try to snake the line and said that we should call someone else. We are out thousands of dollars and are looking for a competitor to redo their shoddy work."

"After years of service our HOA has chosen to no longer use MT Carpenter. After a shaky start to our summer for our irrigation system that ultimately was taken care of and satisfactory, we requested service after having a GFI pop that drained our backup battery that holds the clock for our sprinklers. After a member of MT Carpenter's team stopped by, our sprinklers were going off hourly. Mistakes happen, right? I contacted their office that same evening and left a voicemail, no response. Friday I tried again, left a voicemail, no response. Monday morning, voicemail, no response, Monday afternoon, I tried again. By Wednesday, I still had not heard from anybody and chose to hire another company to get our sprinklers fixed. Months later I finally spoke with someone after receiving a call regarding shut offs. After a discussion with their Operations manager we were able to have the invoice waived, and it could have been left at that, but the manager decided to instruct me to never contact them again because we are a, "Pain in the ***". We won't be using MT Carpenter in the future."

"Entitled people with no customer service. I open my garage door to leave for work and they have one of their trucks with sod on it blocking my driveway. I find the guy, skinny guy, 6'0, short blonde hair and white tee shirt, and instead of simply apologizing and moving the vehicle he's rude, condescending and wants to argue. I call into the office and the guy answering the phone wants to make excuses instead of again apologizing and fixing the problem. after reading the reviews I'm not surprised at the poor customer service. seems like a shoddy company. There are many reputable landscaping companies out there, i'd avoid this one."

"Beautiful Design & Great Crew. M.T Carpenter did the landscaping for my neighbors house and it looks awesome. Their guys cleaned up everything when they were done and left the street as clean as they found it. They also helped my wife catch our dog that escaped, for which we are very grateful."

"We spent over $35000 on landscaping and they refuse to replace a tree they delivered that was 1/3 dead. Jethro said it should come back. That was two years ago. Made multiple requests to replace the tree. Nothing in response."
