"Nice park, beautiful sunset on what was left of the ski trails. People walking on them made it more of a challange with the melting snow."
"This place had it all! Stopped here to enjoy some of the last sunny fall days! It didn’t disappoint. We found a covered pavilion to eat our lunch. Then just up the hill was a stellar playground, that the kids enjoyed turning into an obstacle course. Eavesdropping on the bougie older dad with his kids from “this younger gal” about an upcoming trip to Monaco was entertaining. The playground is approachable for all ages but the sign did say 5-12 year olds. We also checked out the beach and although cold this time of year I’m looking forward to going back in the summer!"
"Great autumn season walks. The trees have nice colors when changing."
"We're in town for a wedding, and it has been super busy, so this afternoon at this lovely park was a perfect, relaxing way to end the weekend. Wonderful beach, lots of tables and grass. Restrooms close. Great place!"
"This is specifically for the non-motorized boat landing. Well maintained separate launch and parking for the non-motorized boat area. It is a dirt road though so be prepared for your vehicle to get a bit dusty. The lake around the non-motorized area is just covered in weeds for a long ways out which is probably why it's non-motorized. If you are not a dog person or are afraid of dogs be aware that lots of people seem to bring their unleashed dogs to the non-motorized area to run around in the lake despite a sign stating that all dogs must be leashed there, also I've noticed dog droppings towards the edge of the maintained area so be careful where you step. Despite that, I think it's a nice launch to get a canoe or kayak in the water and paddle around."
